How We Got Started
Out of the Ashes Cleaning Services grew out of a simple idea: East Texas needed a cleaning company willing to take on the jobs other cleaners turn away from — the make-ready turnovers on a tight deadline, the new-construction home buried in drywall dust, the storage unit nobody wants to open, the room that needs biohazard-level care and compassion. That's what we built the business around, and it's still what we do today: rental properties, new construction, biohazard remediation, hoarding situations, storage facilities — you name it, we clean, ALOT.
The name reflects how we think about the work. Almost every job that lands on our schedule involves some kind of reset — a property between tenants, a family facing a hard moment, a space that's been neglected longer than anyone's proud of. Our job is to help that space come out the other side clean, functional, and genuinely beautiful again. It's work we take seriously, and we bring a little grace and a lot of hard work to every job we take on.
Led by Dakota Hill
Our crews are led by Dakota Hill, who customers consistently describe as thorough, easy to work with, and exactly who you want managing a difficult job. Dakota completed Amdecon's CTS Decon Specialist training, covering Bio-Safety Level 1 & 2 protocols and OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards (29 CFR 1910.1030) — training that shapes how our whole team approaches safety, even on jobs that aren't biohazard-related.
